The Haven is a project dedicated to providing support and treatment for people with a personality disorder diagnosis and information can be found, about all aspects of the service, on our website.

HavenART is trading for the first time through The Haven Project which is a Social Enterprise. It is a way in which artists and photographers are able to celebrate their creative personalities and make their work available to a wider audience. We consider the standard of work to be exceptional and we hope that those who view the galleries will find some beauty and inspiration within the images.

Hazel Roberts has an eye for capturing what is beautiful in the world and her images rarely include people who, where they are featured, seem merely incidental to the form and colour that surrounds them.

Hazel has been taking photographs since she was ten years old. Her first camera was a Praktica, which was the first with “through the lens” viewing. She now uses a Pentax ISTDS. This is the first time that Hazel has made her photographs available commercially, although she has exhibited some of her work at the Tate Modern in 2008.

Sam McArthy has been drawing since she was sixteen years old. She has always used pastels as her medium and animals are her chosen subject.

Sam in very shy about her work, despite all the admiration it attracts.

Her ability to capture animals in the wild and images of our much-loved pets is extraordinary. Sam has done a number of commissions from photographs and is willing to consider taking on such requests.

Heidi

Heidi Page first developed an interest in taking photographs in her teens. Her first photograph’s captured the essence of what is beautiful in the countryside and its wild animals. Since then her pictures have included everything from family pets; to the countryside; to the moon. Her photographs are varied and beautiful but it has taken quite some persuasion for her to enter them for sale on the HavenART website. Her gallery is a small one, beginning with a themed series of bubbles and oil which are truly unique.

Heidi has exhibited at The Together Gallery in London. She currently works as a volunteer photographer for the Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

Jaye has been making jewellery for the past ten years. These unique Haven Blue Sky Thinking Charity Dove Earrings have been made by her especially to raise funds for the Haven Social Inclusion Unit and most of their price goes to the fund with only a small amount covering costs.

Jaye’s dove earrings are cut from natural mother of pearl and coupled with swarkovski crystal bicones and sterling silver beads in a sterling silver headpin. The earwire is sterling silver. Each pair comes with chiffon draw string gift bag.
