Become A Friend Of The Haven And Make A Real Difference To Someone's Life

Donations Thermometer

For the last six years activities have been set up at The Haven to help our  clients have the kind of opportunities we all cherish and often take for granted e.g. decent homes, family life and careers.  So many Haven clients have started college courses, voluntary work, and even paid employment, during this time.

These activities were funded, on a start-up basis by the Government’s Cabinet Office for three years.  Subsequently, we tried for many months to gain agreement, from local PCT and County Council commissioners, to continue to fund these activities on an on-going basis.  However, the recession, and cut backs, meant that they did not feel able to do so at this time.

We need £50,000 each year to keep these activities going and, three years on, we remain determined to raise the funds in many different ways.  Top left, our funding thermometer shows that, once again, we raised all the funding needed for the financial year.  Bottom left, the thermometer shows a good start but that we are not yet half way there for 2013/14.

By pledging as little as £5 a month, by Standing Order, you could help us in a very big way to continue to achieve our annual target. Please try to help if you can and send Standing Order slips, below, to the address at the top of the page.

Additionally there is an opportunity to give a one-off donation by cheque or internet banking or in an instant, by PayPal, see link above.

Thank you,

Heather Castillo
